Frequently Asked Questions

Strictly speaking, these questions aren't asked that frequently. This is especially the case, because anyone who read the Frequently Asked Questions page would have no need to ask us these questions. It's a bit paradoxical. Nevertheless, here are a few questions that we have been asked, and a few that we have not.

Usual Classes

Courses at HCSSiM are broken up into workshops, maxis, and minis. Though no course taught is ever quite the same, there are some classes that are taught most years of the program. Here you will find more information on these classes, as well as the overall structure of the classestaught at HCSSiM.

Unusual Classes

Over the years there have been some wacky courses taught at HCSSiM. Of course, they have all been mathematical, but they are often on topics not available even at many undergraduate institutions. The exact classes being taught depend on the expertise of that particular year's staff. Here we have a collection of some of these "unusual classes" taught in recent years.
